I've got a great idea regarding gay marriage. What do you think?


Now that most common reason I hear and see why gay marriage shouldn't be court is because the Bible says being gay is a sin. Okay but if that is grounds for it anyone not legal then my idea is we should brand name premarital sex illegal!!!! Awesome idea isn't it?!?! I think I'm individual taken seriously. I do think that gay marriage should be legal because it doesn't affect my existence any differently if it does. And yes I was trying to point out that church and state are supposed to be separated and by mixing the two we could wind up making stupid laws.

Yes, along those lines. Neither should be ILLEGAL. Yes, it is a sin to be surrounded by the act of homosexuality, but if your judging your opinion on God, you should remember, he give us the freedom of doing what we want. So we shouldn't necessarily do these things, but we should have the freedom to. God Bless.
I have an hypothesis, let's just make it legal because two gay relations getting married doesn't infringe on your and my rights to life, liberty, and our pursuit of happiness. It's the constitution. Learn it. Live it. Love it.

You are right. Homosexuality is a sin and so is extra-marital sex. God doesn't distinguish between sins.
An even better perception would be to get rid or religious people and all their stupid design on telling people what they can and can't do with their lives.
So, instead of shooting yourself within ONE foot, you want to shoot yourself in BOTH feet? And you think this is a GOOD perception? Oy. Just legalize gay marriage. It's easier.
Pretty good. But marriage in the biblical sense does not exist anymore. Not because of gay or lesbians but because it requirements to be ordained by the government. You need to have the consent of the senate via a license to be considered a legally married couple. What we have are civil unions. Should gay couples be given the right to a civil league? Absolutely. Should government stay out of the marriage business? Again absolutely. There problem solved. God ordain the marriage between a man and a woman. The government ordains the contract between to consenting adults. What the problem is?
Or we could just recognize that there is both a legitimate and a religious connotation to marriage. Why should non-believers be subject to the religious beliefs of others particularly when they will be denied certain expensive rights? I see no reason not to recognize civil unions for gay or straight couples.
That is already on the books as a crime, along with oral copulation, sodomy, and cheating on you spouse for women lone... not men... you can tell who mad up that law ha..
