Attempted murder or assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injuries??? it happened in los angeles?
this happened in los angeles ca. a friend of mine went out drinking and get in a fight with a guy apparently he stabbed the guy 5 times puncturing his lung later the sister of the guy he stabbed ran him over and he was almost in a coma he woke up after 5 days and needed to go home so he left the hospital, he has no memmory of what he did! he conference like a little kid and the doctors said its bcoz of a bleed in his herald, he was then picked up by the cops and charged with attempted murder afterwards he went to court and his case changed to assault with a fatal weapon causing bodily injuries, by the way he has 2 strikes already!!!!
If he stabbed someone he is guilty of assault near a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm, simple as that...wether he remembers it or not, or have a head injury from the car incident, thats not relevent to his mental capacity at the time of the assault,If he have the brain injury prior to the offense ,he might have some sort of excuse.with 2 strikes already he probably should get enthusiasm for a aggrevated felony/crime with violence offense..he needs a correct lawyer or he probaly wont get out of prison upright.
That's rather the story. But what exactly is your question?
