What is you opinion on legalizing Marijuana?

Im also doing a english paper on this. So if you can leave me your opinions on weed. If it should be trial for medican? Or legal for anything? I need people opinion for and against it, so please do me a favor.
Thank you!
Be opened minded. When so many empire are using it already why not make it legal. The government could monitor it, collect taxes, and save track of all those who are addicted! It should not be legallized at all the only rationale its used in cancer treatment is because it kills cells and guess what it doesnt of late pick the sick cells it attacks them all. we already have problems next to prescription drug use who knows how bad it would get if associates had even easier access to weed in an easy pill form. the hypothesis is ridiculous and i predict it will never become legallized.
The government should NOT legalize weed. I'll read out what I said to the other person who asked the same question...the management is noone's mommy or daddy. If an adult makes the decision to do drugs, they should do them and settlement with whatever comes. then totally shouldnt adjectives the kids would be getting stoned all the time
I think if within weren't so many people who acted like idiots when they are on weed, we would hold legalized a long time ago. I do consider weed a gateway drug, because I know many people that just started next to weed and ended up doing harder stuff. However, I do think it has various benefits, including its medicinal qualities. I think there are much more precarious things available to the public. Alcohol has more harmful effects on the body than marijuana, and alcohol is probably responsible for 100X more accidents that marijuana use. I guess the government has realized how moronic our society is and they're are afraid that too abundant people will overly abuse marijuana and become even more dumb. Marijuana should not be approved for medical use unless/until it has one and the same degree of scrutiny in the same sort of studies as any other drug.
I'm adjectives in favor of legalizing not just marijuana, but adjectives drugs except some antibiotics and special-case medical drugs, for recreational purposes. Fools who get into trouble with them seem immaculately capable of doing so even with legal prohibitions, and the money spent on enforcement of drug law could be better spent on treatment programs.
It won't happen. The illegal market is making too much money on it.

Don't explain to me the government has nothing to do next to that. If you don't pay tax on a large ample amount of money - they will find you even in the Amazon. So why can't they track down the dealer with traffic going within and out of his house at all hours? Because they CHOOSE not to.

The 70's are over. Politically, this is dead issue. Several states decriminalized it back consequently. Every such state went back to criminalizing it shortly after.
Well personally, I like the idea, because weed is a inbred drug. Compared to all of the pain killers that are man made and are more toxic in the long run. I was on vicodine and ibuprofen for over two years after fracturing both my arms, having carpal tunnel surgery, and have three wisdom teeth pulled out within that time period. I presently have severe stumach and liver problem because of these medication.
Here in Oregon weed is leagal with a prescription, and I must speak it does less damage then the the other crap they proffer for pain.
The drug companies however do not like this idea, because they repugnance the idea of using vitimins, mineral and any natural drugs becuase they lose money. All drug companies are owned by the governement, and that is how they put together their profit.
An interesting idea would be to look at other countries that do leagalize pot, and see what the pros and cons are.
