Landlord showing up illegally?

The landlord has stuck up a notice dictum "Viewings will be taking place between 10am -8pm each day after 1st April".

Does this constitute the 24 hour written notcie required by imperative, he showed up unannounced yesterday with a group of potential tenents and we showed him the door after he had let himself within. He was not amused and i think we frightened the tenents away.

He has a history of lately letting himself in under the guise of repairs - eg he was contained by our house one day under the premise of "checking the stools dont wobble".

Basically i think justifiably we should still have the notice and will seek direction from citizens support. If he keeps doing it im tempted to tell adjectives potential renters that this landlord is not worth the hassel and find someone else.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

David
In my opinion the make out is to vague and way to open, check next to your local laws but in general most places will own frequency restrictions some only allow showings m-f 9 to 5 normal business hours
Take note of his appearances and check your local law. He sounds like a pervert landlord I had once. The spot is considered 24 hour written notice, but he can't have viewings that you do not agree with. After 6 pm is not agreeable. Also, it isn't April 1st yet, so you had no obligation to consent to him show the apartment. By law, you can add a lock or chain to be used when you are home to avoid him letting himself contained by. You can't use that lock when you aren't home, unless you notify him that you have added a lock and that he is required to notify you when repairs will be made. It's a little bit of a gray area, but I wouldn't want someone within my apartment without me being there.
