What do you think of the police taking away my chickens?

Someone in my neighborhood got their goat taken away and reported us with our 5 chickens. It was helping my daughter who loved the chickens and took care of them. She has a disability problem. They said it was against the law unless I had another acre.

I think it's crap! But that's what happens when we don't have any Real policing agency on our policing angencies. And this is what happens when you take normal person who thinks they now what's best for you and put them in a postition to do it, whether you want them to or not. (can't tell i have...um...authority issues...)
See if you can get a permit to have them. Where i live, if you get everyone in a certain distance from your house to sign it, you can have those kinds of pets.

Are you able to give them away? They will probably get put down if the police take them. Can you give some to a family member so they can stay in your life? Where do you live?
Couldn't you have gotten her an actual pet? Like a hand raised cockatiel is nice AND it will talk eventually. Some people are just so rigid when it comes to laws, but the laws exist for a reason. I'm sorry that your neighbors are such.....(fill in the blanks).
I feel so sorry for your daughter. She must have loved them so much! I know there is laws that people have to go by and sometimes we just can't understand why it has to be that way. The police were just doing their jobs by taking your chickens. Hopefully your daughter will find another interest to take the place of the chickens. Does she have a dog or cat?

Did you eat the c chickens, or their eggs. If you did, someone might think they're livestock, instead of therapy.
if by law you need another acre than by law they can take the chickens. I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I wish you the best of luck.
