I know i sound nuts but???

ok i have an obsesion wil killing and serial killers.. but its not contained by a bad way not like i love them i simply like knowing facts about them

but has any one ever notice there arn't any good serial killers any more

resembling back in the old days some relations killed 300 people befor they got caught

immediately days the serial killers kill like 15 race then stop....

where has that have need of gone

i don't want it back.. i mean i really really don't want serial killers but it be like the drive is now missing
Not only has law enforcement and technology gotten better to track down these killer but psychology has greatly improved as well. We see more parents today treat their children better than did previous generation. Those who mistreat animals are punished more severely than in the past since most serial killers started out harm animals. umm, i could be wrong, but i think thats a good thing!
you can still delight in all the old ones and no one else have to get hurt. you get your cake and eat it too. i hope it taste good!
My guess is that what's happen is that justice and security have better. We have WAY better methods for tracking down killers now than we did even 20 years ago. Not one and only does this make the killers more likely to get hold of caught faster, but it discourages them from killing because they know they're more likely to be caught, unlike in the outdated days when you could grab random people rotten the highway and no one would ever figure out it was you. This is a positive adjust, of course, for all us potential victims.

I'm a writer who is used to working with a few deranged characters within my writing, so maybe I find this question a lot smaller quantity crazy than some other answers might. XD
Read true crime. Ann Rule writes good stuff. You'd be surprised at what you didn't know in the order of different killers.

It fascinates me too. I want to understand WHY they do this, although that's never looked into as much as what happen that leads up to their capture.
