Unless your contract specifically states that you must uphold a specific apperance you cannot be fired for "being ugly." You must be in direct defilement of a condition of your contract.
you can be fired by a boss if you are ugly. however they will of course claim it is for another reason.
If your job requires a pleasing appearance, next yes. I know a woman who used to be a stripper. She had a skin outbreak one day, and said that she "called within ugly". Her job depended on her appearance. In most jobs, though, being unsightly is not a good reason for someone to fire you.
