Boss problems...my boss said its a "mans job"?

My boss has told me and another female co-worker that it is a "mans job" to work an depart postion in the early shift. This is discrimination against sex.How should i be in motion about reporting this?Should the other worker and I go together or separately? Also if the girl is pretty looking he will go straightforward on her or if your a man your able to do whatever or if you are Hispanic.
It definately reeks of sex descriminiation. You should report it to your boss' supervisor or your human resources department. Keep written records of date and time his comments be inappropriate. You may need the documentation if HR or his supervisors fail to investigate and resolve the issue.
If she is sick of it and desires you to go in with her, i would plainly resolve this. And if they try to fire her for it then that is discrimination. And if they right to be heard that it she could not perform the man's job then you ask, "Why consequently did you hire a woman to do it?" Is there something wrong with you women. It's a mans employment. If he is signing the pay checks he can call it a mans available job and I agree with him.
As long as you go into the errand and meet all the existing requirements and will not need any change to accomodate you that wouldn't also apply to the male workers, you should be able to get and maintain the job. Ask what the standards are and if you meet them, then why can't you try to do the work. It IS sexual nouns. However, again, do not get the job then ask for the standards to be changed so you can touch them. Complain to your state dept of labor or seek advise of an attorney. Odds are if you approach your boss about it contained by a confrontational manner, he might just find some reason roughly speaking your current job performance to make you an ex-employee. Good luck.
