What recompense is available for falsely accused teachers of sexual assault?
My friend has been cleared by the DCSF and has clear enhanced CRB checks but the adjectives process has taken 2 years, 2 years his life has be in limbo, what is out there to recompense him for this travesty?
Normally the accusations against a teacher are customarily propelled by the Social Services!And there is a 'Norm' in education which is!Believe the pupil!Suing!Well ;attain advce from your Union! It is becoming a scary world. The only thing to be glad is that he be NOT charged/ convicted, and spend time in prison for things he did not do. That happens.
According to the link below, they can sue for damages in a civil court and the federal Teacher Protection Act of 2001 provides some assistance to them; the National Education Association has a fund to facilitate with court costs too. Some schools also have disciplinary codes to remove students who own falsely accused teaching staff and can sue the student too. Hope this knit helps:

And you can't even sue the school because they're required to err on the side of caution for the children. That's what I don't similar to about these Witch Hunts. There are real predators out there, but everyone's seeing a predator lurking on every corner, the accusation fly fast and wild, and many lives are ruined near no factual basis.
One of two things is going to end up taking place. We're going to be SO afraid that we'll have giant interment camps like the Japanese during WWII including ancestors who did nothing wrong, or a backlash will start ignoring all the accusation and real predators will be roaming around freely.

As the accuser is or be a minor there is NO legal comeback.
the only pay costs is to be cleared.
the CRB is supposed to protect people but it does not have any compensations schemes or liability for wrong filing or malicious cases other than clearing the record!
