The constitutions states one entity but in reality society does another. There has be a lot of changes for equality, but let's not fool each other here , minorities and women still own a lot of catching up to do when it comes to equal anything.

No, it was not. Even after the Constitution be written, women still had to fight for their rights. Especially their right to vote.
